What we do
Solutions for the smallest builder to the most renowned architects
We manufacture, in the UK and across Europe, plasterboards, passive fire protection products and steel frame systems for walls, ceilings and external sheathing. Our solutions offer new specification opportunities for large commercial builds such as schools, multi-residential properties and hospitals. We also help the construction sector to cut waster, improve manual handling, speed up installation and deliver project that are sustainable and low maintenance. We take huge pride in the impact of our achievements on the construction industry.

Where we come from
A strong manufacturing heritage in the UK
We are proud of our manufacturing heritage; we have been making plasterboard for over 30 years, passive fire protection for over 60 years and steel frames since 2013. Today, Etex Buildng Performance has 35 factories across Europe and the Middle East employing over 3,300 people. In the UK, we are extremely successful, increasing our turnover by £50m in just two years.

We have apprenticeship programmes throughout our business. Largely in engineering, although other functions are embracing apprenticeship programmes too.
